Winter Meetings: Ante the Hell Up Y’All

Major League suits are set to invade US America‘s baseball-less Indianapolis this week… and they all have one singular goal: move that paper.

For those of you dear readers who respond better to visual metaphors, here’s one for ya: John Mozeliak (Ernie), Kermit (Peter Gammons), Cashman and Epstein (the Yip-Yips), and many more are all gittin’ down to ante up:

*Strong language may not be suitable for children unless your kids are related to Busta Rhymes in which case this type of language is as common around the house as naked women and blunts for breakfast*

It’s true.

Don’t hate me ‘cuz I’m right.

I feel dirty after watching that…ha, ha! Poor Kermit…it’s not easy being green ;o)

I live in Indy so I think I’m going to go wonder around the convention center tomorrow and see what trouble I can get into.

Jenn — Hehe, I always feel dirty. Now ya know how I feel🙂
Cob — Go get ’em! Bring lots and lots of cash!

I like Cashman and Epstein as the Yip-Yips. And I wonder if the Cardinals will re-sign Holliday. Any chance of that? Also congrats on Whitey Herzog making the Hall.

Right on, Jane! The White Rat is IN! And I’m sure Theo and Brian have a stronger, more secret relationship than we know about… it certainly comes out as the Yip-yips.

Cashman and Epstein as the Yip-Yips would be fitting. In almost any setting. (They sound like a law firm, after all)!😉
Unrelated note: Tip of the cap to your granddad, Jeff, and your friend in Iraq right now. Thanks to them! Take care.

Thanks, Greg. Gpa was a special man — a soldier til the end and my pals in Iraq (who read this btw) will be happy to know they’re thought of back home.
