Merry Mindmuck & Happy Paradigm Shift!

Brian Cashman.JPGYeah.  You know what I’m talkin’ about.  What you thought you knew is rendered totally false; and none of us quite know how to deal with it.

Let’s see… in recent days we have learned the following:

The Yankees DON’T always get what they want.

The Red Sox have TWO closers, neither of which commands any fear.

And Al Qaeda is going ALL OUT to make this Christmas a very special one to remember.

Er… wait… that was…

Nevermind.

I’m just glad that children’s choir Christmas concerts in Racine, WI will always maintain the traditional standards of the holiday season:

Oh well.

Like they say, if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.

Hate me ‘cuz I be trolololololol’n, just don’t hate me ‘cuz I’m right.

Happy Friday!

Jeff

Trololo, eh? Ummm… yeah… not so much… {shudder}…
Not sure what we’ll think yet of Jenks, but we have been clamoring for Papelbomb to be traded (even last off-season), so that would be a plus. I’m hoping that will force the issue.
Take care, Jeff and Allen!

Jeff,
Boston is actually looking into possibly bringing in LHP Brian Fuentes too, which would give them a closer Du Jour format, or leftie-rightie closer specialists…or a combination of all of the above.
And they brought in set-up man Dan Wheeler to possibly enter the game in the sixth inning followed by a combination of Papelbon, Jenks, Bard and possibly Fuentes.
I still think it was to keep a few closers off the market make a few teams weak at the back end of the Bullpen….But I sometimes like to think up conspiracy theories.
But then again, our owner lives and stays most of the time in NY…..

That song will definitely be on the top pick list for American Idol contestants, but what the hell is with all the Russian script is WI a Baltic State or part of Russia or Ukraine or some other off the wall USSR spin off…

At least 3 of the kids were inventive with their masks.

I think you’re being a little unfair to Papelbon and Jenks; they had underwhelming years, but both have gotten the big outs in the post-season.
My main site has been re-designed. Check it out.

Greg — I look forward to the BoSox in 2011. They mean BUSINESS!
RR — Well, they might not all be lights out anymore, but that combo sure is loaded with experience.
Peter — I dunno why the Cyrillic jumped in there. Maybe a Russian immigrant was the videographer. Stranger things have happened.
Prince — You’re probably right… but for dramatic effect, I gotta go big or go home. And I don’t have a home so I have no choice ;-)
