Why I’m Rooting Against the Angels
It’s nothing personal. Really. Halos fans are cool. And when I lived in SoCal, one of my favorite things to do was head on down to the Big A. But this has nothing to do with the Angels or their fans and everything to do with her.
I am over her. I am. We had our good times, and yeah, she broke my heart into a bazillion little pieces, but it’s over now. I’ve been over it.
For a while now.
It’s just that running into her during the playoffs — seeing how shiny and beautiful and happy she is with another man — well, just the idea of it happening like that so fast makes me want to puke. And while I’m sure there will be a time when seeing her prosper will not make me dizzy with envy, that time is not now.
Not yet.

Uh huh. I see how it is. So by that logic Emma, I deduce you’re rooting for the D-Backs in the Wild Card race, loooooooog shot thought they are? I mean, they are the smallest budget team still in the mix. 😉

I just…I don’t even know what to say. Haters, the lot of you! I don’t even think I can keep reading… 😉 yeah, I couldn’t even keep a straight face while typing that. That’s okay Jeff, sometimes I think the Angels bullpen is rooting for the A’s along with you and Emma. And I wouldn’t worry about not being able to compete with Mike Trout – most of the AL can’t either, though the poor kid is all tuckerd out and slumping a bit right now.

This is a tough one, but I’ll have to side with Kristen on this one, ’cause Trout is tha man, and Trevor still has some Angels love in him. It’s not like his Cubs will ever win anything. Ever. So, I’ll root with him for the Angels! I don’t hate the A’s either, and ‘Moneyball’ was a great flick, or maybe it’s just sour grapes when they beat Will Clark and the Giants back in ’89…
